Part of America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration on Plymouth’s Historic Waterfront.

Plymouth, MA —America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration is a beloved holiday tradition and an important link to our nation’s history. For 25 years people have traveled to the historic Plymouth Waterfront to experience a bounty of authentic Americana. This year we celebrate the 400th Thanksgiving. History-brought-to-life as Pilgrims, Native Americans, Soldiers, Patriots, and Pioneers climb out of the history books and onto the streets of Plymouth.

The Farmers Market at Rye Tavern and America’s Hometown Thanksgiving Celebration presents the Harvest Market on Sunday, November 21 from 11am-4pm. Join 26 local farmers, bakers, and artisans on the historic Plymouth waterfront at the DCR Pilgrim Memorial Park under a heated tent and gather Thanksgiving feast ingredients to celebrate the fall harvest. Prepare dinner using locally grown organic cranberries, produce, herbs, preserves, eggs, pork, beef, house-smoked bacon and sausage, guinea chicken, and turkey. Local food artisans will bring fresh cheeses, yogurt, jams, sauces, honey, and a wide selection of artisan breads and baked goods including chocolate buns, cookies, cakes, tarts, pies, and seasonal treats.

Local restaurants Rye Tavern, Su Casa, and Artisan Pig will join us, as well as local music from The UnHoly Mackerels. Plan on lunch at the waterfront.

Fresh Meadows Farm, a third-generation Cape Verdean local organic cranberry farmer, will have authentic antique cranberry tools and be on hand to talk about local cranberry harvesting. Grab the latest issue of Edible South Shore & South Coast at the Market Table. At 2pm, join Jeff from vendor Savenor’s Market as he demonstrates turkey carving.

Select vendors accept EBT/SNAP and WIC; most accept debit and credit cards.  The Harvest Market is free and open to the public.
